STORAGE OF Labetalol: Store it in cool and dry place, away from moisture and direct light. Keep medicine away from the reach of children and pets. Do not store this medicine in bathroom and kitchen or any humidly place.

 

 

APPLICATIONS OF Labetalol: Labetalol has alpha- and beta-adrenergic receptor blocking properties which used to treatment of high blood pressure.

HOW TO USE: Labetalol is generally given 3 to 4 time in a day. This should be once in morning, afternoon and evening.

PHARMACOKINETICS OFLabetalol: Labetalol is rapidly absorbed after administration.

Half life of Labetalol is approximately 1.7 hours to 6.1 hours. Time of peak plasma concentration of Labetalol is 20 minutes to 2 hours. Approximately 55-60% Labetalol eliminated by urine and 12-27% excreted by feces.

 

SIDE EFFECTS OF Labetalol: Some common side effects are dizziness and tiredness.

This drug may cause reduce blood flow in your hands and feet. A very serious allergic reaction to this drug is rare. But you see any serious side effect kindly contact your doctor.
